World Wide Web at UC Davis, California
Hutchison Hall is located in the Plant Pathology Department on the UC Davis campus in California. This work, The World Wide Web, was donated to this department where students study Fungi and this wall installation is symbolic of a fungal mycorrhizal network that connects living organisms in a myriad of ways. Having spent many hours in the science department during my undergraduate studies in Biology at Cal Poly Pomona, I wanted to visually create the connection of art and science as a way of communicating the power of connectivity.
